Hello

Hi, I’m Sian, an integrative psychotherapist based in the UK. My approach combines various therapeutic techniques, including CBT, Humanistic, and Psychodynamic Therapy, to help you overcome challenges like anxiety, trauma, and low self-esteem. I focus on understanding how your past experiences and attachment styles affect your present life. Together, we'll build resilience, healthier relationships, and a stronger sense of self-compassion. I offer both in-person sessions in Lytham St Annes and online therapy for your convenience.

My Story

Growing up, I faced a lot of challenges that left deep marks on my emotional well-being. As a child, I went through experiences that were really difficult to process. They affected my ability to manage my emotions, and as I grew older, I found myself battling overwhelming anxiety and panic attacks.

 

My self-esteem took a hit, and I often felt lost in my own world of worry and fear. Forming close relationships felt impossible, and social anxiety became a constant companion.

For the longest time, I believed there was no way out. I was stuck in this exhausting cycle, unsure if I’d ever feel any different. But things began to change when I made the decision to seek therapy.

​

Therapy was like a light in the dark for me. It gave me the tools to understand not only my anxiety but also how to work through it. I started recognizing my triggers, and slowly, I learned how to manage my reactions in a healthier way. It wasn’t easy, but with time, I started to feel more in control of my life.

My Credentials

Over the past ten years, I've picked up a bunch of different skills that help me connect with people from all walks of life. I'm into helping with stuff like trauma, substance abuse, mental health issues, domestic violence, anxiety, depression, stress, self-esteem, isolation, grief, illnesses, body dysmorphia, and gender dysmorphia.

​

I've got a Master's degree in Social Work, a Bachelor of Science degree in Counseling and Therapeutic Studies, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Integrative Psychotherapy. Plus, I've spent over 100 hours doing play therapy with kids in school, so I've got some real hands-on experience.

​

I've also done loads of training like Safeguarding Children Levels 1-7, Safeguarding Adults Levels 1-4, Mental Health First Aid, and LGBTQ+ Awareness. These courses have helped me get good at things like child sexual exploitation, child neglect awareness, child bereavement, and drug and alcohol awareness. With my knowledge and skills, I'm ready to give some practical help and support to people who need it.

I'm totally committed to using what I know and what I've learned to make a positive impact on the lives of the people I work with. My goal with therapy is to help folks tackle their challenges and find happiness in their lives.
